THE "DINER CAR"

Our Air Conditioned Diner Train Car with

Buffet Meal.  Enjoy the show and meal together!

Our Train diner car has glass windows that overlooks the stage. This is an enclosed heated and air conditioned diner and a  buffet dinner is included, so as you watch the performance you can eat, drink, and enjoy the show all at the same time. The sound is piped in with speakers so you don't miss a thing. There are 12 seats and only those who purchase the train ticket can enjoy this added experience. You must have a train pass for the Diner Car which is $30 each. This includes the buffet, show, and diner experience.  We are now taking reservations. We don't require any deposit up front, but we will take your reservation and hold passes for you. Just let us know.

OUR COMMUNITY: Settled in the 1780s
This unique scenic rural community was settled for it's plentiful supply of spring water and wildlife. Early settlers included the Shains, Youngs, Kebbles, Mahurines, Stinsons, Deweese, and Litseys.
THE SHOWS: Dock Brown - Legend of an Outlaw - In 1842 Gillium Hopper, Jr., alias "Dock Brown" came to this rural community of Pine Knob along with his brother Pinkney and his father Gillium Hopper, Sr. alias "John Brown".
THE SCHEDULE : Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 PM. Opening the third Saturday in June and running through the last weekend in September each year.
OUR LOCATION:  Located within 100 miles of Louisville, KY...Evansville, IN, and Nashville TN. 

Located within 50 miles of Bowling Green, Elizabethtown, and Owensboro Kentucky.

We are at exit 94 off the Wendell Ford Express

TICKET INFO:  Ticket prices vary and can be purchased at the box office.
LODGING:  Our Guest House is located within 1 mile of the Theatre.  It has a private swimming pool, air conditioned, queen size bed, kitchen, living room, very clean quarters, and can be rented by the night or week. 

WEDDINGS:   The perfect place for an outdoor romantic wedding

THINGS TO DO:  Rough River State Resort Park located just 14 miles north of Pine Knob is secluded in hilly, ruggedly beautiful Western KY countryside overlooking a 4,860-acre lake.
SHOPPING:  This limited edition print of the "Pine Knob Store" available for $50.00 plus $12.00 handling and shipping. The print was painted by Jackie Shepherd the co-owner of the Pine Knob Store.
 THE PLAYWRIGHT:  Born and raised in the rural community of Pine Knob, Ky. ,the happy memories of his childhood in the community have led to the five plays being performed each summer.
